Moody Street TV released a 60-minute TV documentary special entitled, BU HOCKEY – THE SEASON that will be airing on NESN. Produced by Steve Sera, Executive Producer at Moody Street TV, the special will be shown throughout the month of October.
The 2013-2014 marked an iconic year for Boston University’s hockey team, as long-standing coach Jack Parker announced his retirement and ended his 40-year long stand with the Terriers. David Quinn, who played at BU from 1984-88, succeeded Parker as Head Coach. As an All-Hockey East and All-New England defenseman with varying levels of coaching experience, Quinn was the ideal candidate for the job. From the first practice to the final post-season game, NESN’s documentary special, BU HOCKEY – THE SEASON follows Boston University’s hockey team along their historic journey.
The debut is scheduled to be aired on Wednesday, October 1st at 8PM, with a re-run to follow at 9PM for a double dose of BU Hockey action. Be sure to watch the remaining episodes, which will be aired on: Friday, October 3rd at 3PM, Sunday, October 5th at 5PM, Wednesday, October 15th at 7PM, Saturday, October 18th at 4:30PM, and Wednesday, October 29th at 8:30PM.
